Great post about passion. Too many people jump onto a get rich quick scheme looking to make money. Many others find themselves stuck in dead end jobs wondering what to do. But, "at least" they say, "they're making money."
You are right on target with your passion post! I often tell people to find what "blows their hair back and knocks their socks off" and then go for that with passion.
Stay passionate and keep encouraged!
Dr. Rus
Passion is driven by a calling, a known purpose, and a spirit that is "bullet proof". When we compromise on our calling we lose our passion. If we focus on the things God wants us to pursue, he ignites the flame, the desire, and the tenacity to do the seemingly impossible. Passion is driven by faith whether you are agnostic, Christian, or other believer.
Similarily, there are many ungodly causes (mainly those that desire or ignore the existence of God). According to the media and the world at large, the Christian view of God is the only religion being attacked for its passion or lack of it.
As a Christian business man, my passion is to inspire the passion in others and to encircle myself with other passionate believers who know that God is doing some incredible things in these times!
On Mission, On Assignment, and in THE ZONE.
Sincerely,
